i celebrated my fren's birthday today at sakae sushi.
was supposed to treat my fren but it ended up the other way round haha.
then i went for my driving lesson.
met keith and thomas at sembawang mrt station before heading down for the YP bbq.
the place is at hometeam sembawang.
i was shocked by the conditions of the building and facilities.
but then again 4days 3nights cost 100+.
so no complaints.
only mich and us were there,
and we fed mosquitoes while waiting for the rest.
keith started the fire at abt 5.he's quite pro haha.
the rest came at abt 8-.-
so by 8 i was pretty much full already LOL.
it was pretty fun taking pics and catching up with them after not seeing them for so long.
and we played "big fish small fish".
loser had to drink half a cup of beer.(i didnt have to=p)
poor eve and catherine drank like.alot.
in the end i still got abit sian cos i was there since 5 when there was nothing to do but rot.
so i went home with reihorng in a cab.
wahhh im tired now.

i was on my way home from driving lesson and i wondered why i can progress reasonably fast when some others take alot more time to learn the same thing.well,it may be intelligence.but i think it's confidence.and the determination to finish learning driving as soon as possible.
then it led me to think of studies.
i had a convo with someone just awhile ago.it went:
a:haha smarty pants
b:no la it's just hardwork
a:dont lie u've been doing well since pri sch
eh.i've worked hard since pri sch?i want my A*s,A1s and As.
so i've worked for it and gotten it.
i thank God for good brains.but why cant pple see that it's also hardwork?
my mum can testify.
i dont get it.
if u think u're not smart then shouldnt u work even harder to do well?
edison said 1% inspiration + 99% perspiration = 100% success
let's say ur aim is 80%.
if A has 10% inspiration and B has 20% inspiration who has to work harder?
another thing is that it's impt to have goals.
if im B i'll stil work super hard so that i can reach 110%.
doesnt mean my aim is 80% i'll just put in 60% of work.
i always tell pple if i get B for my core subj for Alevels i'll cry.

know ur abilities.know wad u can do with them.

if u dont study for a test will u feel confident about it?
confidence is good cos u know u have the knowledge at the back of ur head even though it doesnt seem it's there just right before the test.
if u forever think u're going to crash into something or mount the kerb the more u will crash into it.
my driving instructor always says u're heading where u're looking at.
if u look at the kerb and worry abt it u're bound to drive into it.
if u think u cant rmb anything before the test u're going to blank out during the test.

so dream big,know where u're going,and work hard.

watched get smart ytd and dont mess with zohan today.
get smart:super nice and thrilling.and FUNNY.haha.good movie.nuff said.
dont mess with zohan:if u're not for dirty humour,just dont go.cos it's nothing but laughing at the dirty jokes and pervertic actions haha.one thing is that i feel there are hidden(outright actually) political meaning to the show.kind of nationalistic.wells.kind of like a toned down version of borat.
my driving instructor says i drive too fast.lol.must be my impatience stepping in.better knock into my head that i should put my leg on the brake pedal more often.haha.

Met up with chooting and yanzhen near their workplace for lunch.being immersed in info of nice food at their workplace, they intro-ed me to Edogawa,a newly opened jap restaurant@velocity.
20%off cos they just opened!plus free chawanmushi and dessert!and seeing the really nice ambience,we stepped in...
the nice furnishing and lighting(for more see my album under photos)
then came our food!
sashimi.cost $9.80 okay!and apparently i dont think it's very fresh.
the charsiew udon that choo ordered.the soup base is slightly salty but otherwise pretty good.
this is my pork katsu don set!chose this cos it's the most reasonably priced.$11.90.the other set meals like the unagi and the sashimi ones cost above 20bucks.too exp.

had a bad day at work today.
was an accumulation of outstanding issues i couldnt solve with my authority
and my boss forced me to find a solution to it.argh.
it's the 1st time i really got super irritated and argued with her.
come on,im in no position to make the decision like i can resolve the issue.
was always on pretty good terms with my boss.
hate it when things turn out this way.
anyway,sam says the craziest things.
she took the smurf quiz and she's smurfette.
so she asked if it's pronounced as smur-fat or smur-furt
i was like..should be smur-fat.
and she went,but U DONT SAY OME-LAT for omelette right?
omg.i think i can face another omelette without laughing ever.
i was trying to think of some "people" examples and she though of a food one.

was my grandfather's business and now taken over by my uncle.

on a side note,i realised how father's day paled in comparison to mother's day.
mother's day news: the day before,there were news coverages on like mother's day gifts etc.
father's day news: when news ended,the news reporter wish all fathers happy father's day.

even in shopping malls there arent much promotions for father's day.
oh wells.i suppose the world is not really fair.

ACID camp.
i just knew it's short for Annual Camp for the Intellectually Disabled haha.
was wondering why the name never change for the past ten thousand yrs.
it's my 1st,and i enjoyed it.
it was tough,tiring,
nevertheless it was fun and meaningful
to bring that smile to the trainees face.
--i cherish what im blessed with.
went for sat only.
bad weather at pasir ris park,
at least the trainees got to ride on the pony
hey i've never even been on one haha
took my trainee jiaquan for a walk arnd the sch to pass time
she was holding me like im her groom lol.
im just glad when she's happy.
and all her resistance can be forgiven(:
me and shue were saying we prob lost a few kgs
the trainee is strong!cant carry or pull her at all
and by dinner i was pretty glad to sit down and rest haha.
watched tom&jerry.woah brings back memories from young.
magic show after dinner was cool.
the magician looks damn gay though haha
sing along session next.
love it when the trainees enjoy themselves.
and then disco night--highlight of the day man.
it was really like clubbing,
i really miss dancing crazily haha.
and we all did the choochoo train thing

last fri was my last day at yp,oh my im super glad now.im still thankful for all the nice pple there that makes up for wadeva bad pple there are.cos they made my stay at YP so much more enjoyable.love you pple!<3
okay enough of ranting.anyway i'll be heading back to givaudan for 2wks where my pay will be much higher(:half dont feel like working but i feel like i need to cos there arent extra income coming in from the OT like i thought there would.haiz.
btw im starting driving lesson tmr!wish me luck man haha.
