i was on my way home from driving lesson and i wondered why i can progress reasonably fast when some others take alot more time to learn the same thing.well,it may be intelligence.but i think it's confidence.and the determination to finish learning driving as soon as possible.

then it led me to think of studies.

i had a convo with someone just awhile ago.it went:
a:haha smarty pants
b:no la it's just hardwork
a:dont lie u've been doing well since pri sch

eh.i've worked hard since pri sch?i want my A*s,A1s and As.
so i've worked for it and gotten it.
i thank God for good brains.but why cant pple see that it's also hardwork?
my mum can testify.
i dont get it.
if u think u're not smart then shouldnt u work even harder to do well?
edison said 1% inspiration + 99% perspiration = 100% success
let's say ur aim is 80%.
if A has 10% inspiration and B has 20% inspiration who has to work harder?

another thing is that it's impt to have goals.
if im B i'll stil work super hard so that i can reach 110%.
doesnt mean my aim is 80% i'll just put in 60% of work.
i always tell pple if i get B for my core subj for Alevels i'll cry.
they say,are u mad?
that's it.to each his own goal.

3rd is to have confidence.
know ur abilities.know wad u can do with them.
from determination and hardwork comes confidence.
if u dont study for a test will u feel confident about it?
confidence is good cos u know u have the knowledge at the back of ur head even though it doesnt seem it's there just right before the test.
if u forever think u're going to crash into something or mount the kerb the more u will crash into it.
my driving instructor always says u're heading where u're looking at.
if u look at the kerb and worry abt it u're bound to drive into it.
if u think u cant rmb anything before the test u're going to blank out during the test.
if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavours to live the life he has imagined,he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. -Thoreau.

so dream big,know where u're going,and work hard.
full speed ahead.

dont regret.

and most imptly for me,i have God as my guide(:
