if there's such thing as paradoxical pain effect,there must be something similar applicable to feelings.
because the more you are down,the wider and crazier your smile and laughter will be.
and the counter irritant must be something known as pride.
but ultimately at the end of the day it only but distracts you from the actual pain by inflicting the less of the devil.

you know you must be studying too hard when there's a jam and you saw a car accident happening ahead and comment that oh there's an injury and someone else happily replied ohyes the car's injured must refer to the mechanics! xD
so much for wounds and burns.
