Jonah 4:9a, "But God said to Jonah, ‘Do you have a right to be angry about the vine?'"

i guess this is the best verse that i can stumble across in the devotion today.
because like Jonah,
i've been angry about things that were not from me.
He was angry that a vine provided by God for shade was gone the next day.
I was angry that i didnt get to do a part of the dance i got to do the week before.
To pass the auditions, was already grace given by God through my instructor.
yet i was greedy enough to want to dance more parts.
i wouldn't say im totally undeserving of the extra parts,
but it would do to be more contented about what i currently have.
to be truthful, i guess she hasnt really placed me at the back for everything
so i've got to be more thankful really.

and to have a more humble heart.
